Presencing and Quakers part 2

This discussion about presencing and Quakers occurs in the context of the increasing chaos we will continue to experience from interconnected environmental, social, political and economic catastrophes. The systems we once counted on will no longer exist.

Who is going to lead into the uncertain future? How do we discover what to do, how to adapt?

I created this diagram to illustrate my understanding of the similarities between presencing and being led by the spirit. I wonder whether they are exactly the same, or if there are differences.  The diagram implies possible differences since the presencing circle and spirit led circle don’t overlay each other.  Is there more of a moral force associated with leadings of the spirit?

That’s difficult to answer since spiritual matters are usually described as being ‘ineffable’, not able to be expressed in words. Which is why I am excited about the possibilities of this new spiritual grammar related to presencing.

I wonder if it makes a difference. If both are about sensing together (co-sensing), what is happening in the moment, when looking for guidance we believe we can discern about what is “wanting to emerge” (Otto Sharmer), aren’t they the same?
