Yesterday I again walked to the University of Wisconsin campus in downtown Madison. I was interested to see the Gaza solidarity camp again, having first visited May 3rd. The camp was set up April 29th. On May 1st law enforcement clashed with protesters as they tried to remove the camp, but the students peacefully protected their campsite. Still, some UW faculty were injured, and 34 arrests were made.
